The facilities were average but comfortable. We arrived around 5:30 pm on a week night to find the office closed and no one around. We called the number on the door, and were told the key was in the room, move in and check-in in the morning. The next morning the surprises began. We had asked when we made our reservation about which credit cards were accepted, he neglected to mention there would be a 3% charge for using it. They also explained at the next morning check-in a $100.00 damage deposit was required. They then mentioned not to get any make-up on the towels because it "won't wash out". With two teenage daughters who had already used them, this was a little late, although the make-up was very minimal. Long story short, upon check-out he wanted to charge us for three items (which he had never seen - he was on the phone). He "kindly" agreed to charge for only one which we took home washed with the beach towels in cold water, and it is as white as it ever was. This kind of customer service leaves an impression, and a $10 charge will cost him thousands when we stay at his competitors in the future.
