Run, don't walk, but run away from this awful dump! It had dirty, old, musty and moldy rooms, dirty pools, broken concrete, and rude entertainers. It's a complete rip-off. It’s in a beautiful setting, but this place should be leveled and they should start all over again.

While Sunrise Resort is old, half of the 160 rooms have been completely refurbished in the last ten years. When a customer is unhappy, it is usually because they chose to stay in the cheapest, and oldest, of the of the resort's rooms. Sunrise offers an inexpensive all-inclusive vacation reminiscent of the movie "Dirty Dancing." A family of four will pay less than $2,000, including tax, for a seven night all-inclusive vacation in a newer waterfront, or poolside, accommodation. However, potential customers should know that the focus at Sunrise is on family activities and entertainments to share and do together, not television or X-box video games which are not available. If a couple expects to bring their children and leave them unattended while they do other things, this is not the place for them. Lastly, we apologize if one of our entertainers was rude. We have made changes in our social staff for 2007.
