Good
At first glance, the Sundowner does not look as fancy as some other places -- it isn't. But the price is far lower than most other hotels in Sunnyvale so I often choose to stay here anyway. The rooms are comfortable and functional, the high-speed...
I hate to even give it 1 star! This place is a motel. Don't be fooled by the inflated star ratings on Orbitz and the like. My room had tattered & worn furniture, appliances from the 1970's, and stained carpet. The on-premises "gym" had ancient...

Okay
The suite that I stayed in.The couch did not pull out into a bed. I read some pretty scary reviews about this hotel. I called the Sundowner Inn and spoke to the manager who assured me 2 adults and 3 small children would be ok for the room selected...

Horrible
Desk Clerk was intelligent and accommodating. The beds were extremely old and worn out; could not sleep. If you want a good night sleep, find another place.
