71 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I went there for my grandsons wedding. It could not have been more beautiful. The condo we stayed in was wonderful. The hotel handled the wedding and did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend it.
The location, the furnishings in the condo and the layout for the wedding made me feel elegant.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Sundial Beach Resort.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We have stayed at the Sundial for three years, and have found it going progressively downhill.
We will not be staying there again after our last stay. We had reserved a one-bedroom residence, which should have a separate one bedroom. We were given a studio, with a claim that the studio was a one bedroom. The studio did not have a separate bedroom nor a dining area, and was 1/2 half the size of what we were given last year as a one bedroom. I believe this was a classic bait and switch, they claim to be providing a one bedroom and give a studio.
It was Easter week, so there all resorts were fully booked, with no way to make alternative arrangements. We were stuck! The room had a disgusting infestation of tiny bugs, the only thing keeping them at bay was a gecko that lived under the stove.
The maid service was very poor, I had to call the front desk just about everyday to get clean towels or toilet paper. In short, the beach and pool are beautiful, but it was not worth putting up with the poor service. Stay somewhere else.
