Please - Do yourself a favor - Drive past the dump as fast as you can!

Known long term stay option for drifters and otherwise homeless folk. This is NOT a family or business oriented motel.

You'll have to get to Joliet before you find any quality motels. At 35 bucks a night - it's still too expensive.

I stayed at this "motel" for a week. I could not dial out on the phone, even after leaving a deposit at the front desk. Also, they have a sign on the door that says "free internet access", however I could never connect, even asking numerous times at the desk for a user name and password. My room was not touched by a maid for the whole week, nor were clean towels supplied. No one was ever at the desk, and I had to pick up a phone on the wall to get assistance with anything. I would never stay here again....and have warned friends who also will be looking for a motel in that area for work purposes. The microwave in the lobby appeared to not have been cleaned in weeks, and the desk clerk always appeared to have just woken up or was under the influence of something. My rate for the week was $260.00 was was high priced for this dump. If you are going to stay in Braidwood, you would be smart to check-in somewhere else!

The 10.0 review previously submitted appears to be a joke. This is a very basic hotel, with no amenities. The bed was comfortable, but the front desk is sporadically staffed, and problems are not effectively addressed. We had sewage back up into our bathtub, creating an incredibly foul smell, but were not offered a new room or any other accommodation. This may be the best motel in Braidwood (I haven't tried the others), but it is not great.

One of the finest establishments in the country. It's the Waldorf-Astoria of the Midwest.
