Summer Bay Resort Las Vegas

CS doesnt exist, beds uncomfortable and felt like sand in them, running water in sink. I wouldnt recommend here or the Florida location. Also-We were contacted by SummerBay Resorts for their timeshares (FL) -I bought into a "trial" vacation but found this co DOES NOT deliver what their salespeople promote. When Icomplained or tried to get info on MY money-the company personel all change the subject, stalls, yells, hangs up, and wont give clear answers. They dont return calls (or my money). Heads up- dont give them your hard earned money. ...Complaints pending with gov't. This hotel is affiliated.

I'm always amused by some of the scathing reviews I read about this resort! My wife and I ( and sometimes with grown-up kids and friends) have stayed here on many occasions and have never had a bad experience. We have been in various rooms around the resort and some are nicer than others but were always clean with nothing missing. The one time we had a problem was when there was no hot water. They immediately sent a repair man and after an hour or so, they couldn't fix it. The front desk was very helpful and they quickly relocated us to another unit. A word of advice to those of you who complain about problems after you have checked out - if you have an issue with something, get them to fix it or ask to be moved. They will gladly accommodate your requests. We own a timeshare in Las Vegas at Peace Canyon which is a high-end resort but we seldom use it since we can get better value for our points at Summer Bay plus Summer Bay is a great location. We didn't book this year because of the resort move but we can't wait to see how the new resort shapes up!

They say it was renovated, where? A little paint I did notice, but nothing else. Several items/appliances were in non-working order. Pool area was very small, unsanitary and unattractive. The day we left we found 2 of our tires slashed in their parking lot. Did not see any security. Reported it, senior staff was unruly and unprofessional. They basically said too bad that you park at your own risk. Had to get new tires...it turned out an unhappy and costly stay.

We have been owners through repeated buyouts for over 20 years and other than loss of some trading areas from the last purchase we still love it.

Very seldom had a room we did not like and seldom had even minor complaints. When we did they where usually taken care of quickly.

Looking forward to the new property for our 2008 stay in March.

We got there in June it was really bad first thing our stove wouldn't work the burner was up out of it we had to call and get that fixed, then we went to make coffee and that was broke also. Next to our building was one of the building were torn down and looked really bad. They came to clean the room were did the garbage stay right outside our door all night, and heaven for bid you try to get a taxi out of there. They don't want to come there and for god sakes don't buy there until you stay there.
