This place is a complete dive! There is air conditioning in the whole building except the rooms! The rooftop is still not fixed and the balconies are very unsafe looking. The staff is rude and unhelpful. Just because you have a reservation...

November 2006 for 5 days. Good and bad. The Suites' front door is right on the Cable Car line. You can walk 20 steps and flag down the Cable Car at the intersection (if it is not already full) or walk downhill one block to the turnaround....
Parking was too expensive at $20. and it was all crammed into this tiny space with others that could dent your doors or even be where you could get it hit by another.
I loved the colors, the view of Alcatraz and the bay off our balcony. ...
I loved the balcony view that gave our room the perfect touch. The rooms were well equipped, but coffee & phone calls were a little pricey.The maid service was lovely,and my room was sparkling clean every day.
Excellent value for the price. Very large living room. Nice to have a kitchen included with the room. Great view of the bay! Towels in the bathroom very nice.

Located 3 blocks up from the Wharf, The Suites is convenient to most activities in the area. There is a bus stop directly in front of The Suites, and The Hyde Street Cable Car runs along side of it.
