24 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed at Sugar Hill Inn. It was a bed and breakfast located in a historic place in the Hamilton Grange section of Harlem. Harlem has seen some big improvements in the last ten years, and I know this was probably the cheapest deal for staying in Manhattan. It was only a four block walk to the A Train. I did not like that because we were not offered full breakfast or that we had to change rooms at the last minute, even though it was still nice.
This hotel made me feel welcome: It was raining when we arrived. The innkeeper gave us hot coffee and rolls and offered to dry our clothes in the laundry once we changed.
