Suburban Extended Stay Lithia Springs Hotel - Page 1

We have never has issues with any of the choice hotels we have stayed at in the past; I have to say that my experience with Suburban Extended Stay was the worst ever!! We arrived around 1 a.m. exhausted only to walk into a room that had a horrible stinch which happened to be fecal matter in the toilet, the beds were rock hard and the pillows were about 1/4 thick!, only two towels for three people, no soap and over all filthy!! If it were not for the time of night we arrived we would have left but felt we didn't have any other choice but to stay. Needless to say we did not get any sleep because of the uncomfortable beds and still exhausted left at 6 am. We filed a complaint which the manager tried to ice over with the fact that they were renovating the hotel and that the smell was because it was a smoking room. We filed a complaint with choice hotels and were offered a 50% refund but in my opinion we should get 100 % for the fecal matter alone!!!! I do not recommend this hotel at all!!

The first room I stayed in didn't have internet access as advertised, so I was moved to another room. This room was dirty, especially the bathroom, so I cleaned it myself. After check out, I was erroneously charged for two extra nights. I talked to the manager three times to get a refund, but to no avail. I had to file a complaint through ichoice hotels and call the general manager just to get my money refunded. It was a terrible experience.
