41 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

About a year ago I stayed at suburban lodge and it was nice but it has changed. The first room i was in had torn and worn furniture, the boarding was loose in bathroom, the comforter on bed had cig. holes, the toilet was stained with blue stuff and the room smelled like pee. There was also stains on wall. I requested another room and Was given a slightly better room, the remote would not work and when i called to the front desk to try and get the remote reset, i found that the phone was not working and the toilet stain was worse then the room i was in before, and the outlets/cable wiring was not secure which i think is dangerous, was thinking about calling fire marshal on this place. The hallways had trash, The trash cans was overfilled and some trash was laying on ground next to trash can as if it had not been thrown out in a while, i almost got stuck in half working elevator and it was basically very neglected with trash on floor and elevator door was dirty. There are many other hotels in the area that i feel would have been a better stay for my $72.00 but I have learned the hard way not to go there anymore, only reason why i went there in the first place was cause i remembered my stay about a year ago but sad to say, i would no longer let my dog stay there.

34 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

There was no regular room service. You had to take your own towels and sheets to the front desk and they gave you new ones. When we went to have ours replaced they didn't have any clean washcloths. The furniture was threadbare, and one of our family's rooms had a bed comforter that was stained badly and worn. For what the room charge was I felt it was not a good value.

I am not likely to return to the Suburban Extended Stay Austin.
I would not recommend it to friends.

24 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

The room was a very nice room with a few exceptions. The carpeted floor was as if there was no carpet. At the time my infant was still learning to walk without falling and it was more challenging to make sure she didn't fall, trip, or stumble. Also, there was smoke filtrating through the ventilation system. I don't smoke, can't stand the smell and I definitely do not want my child inhaling second-hand smoke. I got a non-smoking room, but somehow a smoky smell filled the bathroom up heavily (we closed the door) and it started to come into the rest of the room. I called the front desk and they came up, but they didn't know where it was coming from. They had the nerve to tell me that covering up the vent was not acceptable. They didn't know what to do about it - they didn't know which room was smoking. They said we were on the second floor and the third floor was the designated smoking floor.

I am very likely to return to the Suburban Extended Stay Austin.
I might recommend it to friends.

The location was very easy to find. It was close to where we were going the next day. The service at the front desk was fast and friendly.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Suburban Extended Stay Austin.
I might recommend it to friends.
