Stratosphere Tower Casino Hotel

I was weary of staying here after reading the reviews but for the price I was glad I did. The checkin took seconds because we used the computer system that had available (the line wasn't long either for regular check in). The room was very clean and large and was also quiet. Their comps very good and after we got home they have sent us several coupons to come back for free stays! The casino was generous, my husband won several times on the card tables. Overall the only thing I wouldn't recommend is the Italian restaurant that is inside this hotel. It was very pricey and absolutely nasty and when we tried to leave (we did pay even though we ended up at Ihop!) the waiter kept trying to keep us there!! Didn't like the bus service. Will def rent a car next time. Took up a lot of our time waiting on one to arrive and then having to stop and wait at the other bus stops was a pain. This hotel is really a good ways away from the main drag and theres not alot going on around this hotel but if its cheap enough its worth it.

Topless pool is nice except the is no need for a 700x SPY camera up there! This is NOT for security of the pool but so that the rent-a-cops can zoom in on the women and record them. Dont be suprised if your pictures show up on the Internet! The Mandalay Bay topless pool has more charm and less obtrusive cameras.

After confirming reservations made by phone 3 times prior to arriving, checking in was a nightmare. We arrived at 6:00p.m. and adjoining (connecting) rooms with a suite were all gone. After an hour or more (and talking to the manager) we finally got into our rooms, but had to change them the next day so we could be connected with my son and family. If you have children the TV channel selections are terrible. Nothing much for them to watch and choice of movies to purchase was awful. Our room keys did not work 3 different times and had to wait over and hour everytime for new keys to be brought to us. Communication between staff members was terrible. With a lot of complaining we were finally given a discount on our rooms, but even that was confusing. Take away our moments of stress and out stay was very nice. Did enjoy the pool, Roxy's Cafe and the Buffet.

I liked the friendly staff and check in was easy. It was a nice place to stay.

It was a good place to stay but the room was hot at night though.
