Constructed in 1923, The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa underwent a $36 million renovation in 2008 which recaptured the Art Deco spirit of Dorothy Draper's original design. The lobby features marble pillars, hand-blown glass chandeliers, an original ironwork Art Deco-designed staircase and a collection of works crafted by Texas artisans. The Modern Italian-style Bolla Restaurant operates under the direction of famed chef David Bull. Tables are separated by sheer draperies. The arc-shaped Bolla Bar serves appetizers, Italian and Mediterranean wines, and signature evening cocktails.
