We stayed at the hotel May 12, 2007. Very clean and very nice. Our only problem was we were unable to open our window and the air conditioner

did not work well most likely it was our fault, but it was a really rough nights sleep in the hot room. There was no water available for sale in the drink machine, although there was homemade lemonaid and iced tea available in the lounge area downstairs. No snacks available in the machine but a good small breakfast available in the morning. It is a very clean and quaint hotel. We would stay again, but would make sure about the air and window problem.

We loved our stay here, our kids were very interested in the old western photos and decor, friendly staff, and clean rooms.

I am very likely to return to the Step Back Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
