This is one of those special "treasures" that we all hope to come across in our infinite search for the perfect bed and breakfast. Our stay was incredible. The room was magnificent (the bed was heavenly!) and our hosts, Evelyn and Dennis are almost too good to be true. From the beautifully antiqued decorated rooms, the most incredible home cooked breakfasts, to the wine and cheese and great conversations each afternoon, you will leave Starr Mansion knowing that you will be back! Vallejo is so very close (approximately 7 miles) from the gateway to Napa Valley for excursions into the wine country. And minutes away from the ferry to take you across to San Francisco for a days outing. For the price, you HAVE to stay here. I was pricing conventional hotels/motels for the same or more money in this area. This is definitely an incredible bargain.
