Starr Mansion Bed & Breakfast Inn

This is one of those special "treasures" that we all hope to come across in our infinite search for the perfect bed and breakfast. Our stay was incredible. The room was magnificent (the bed was heavenly!) and our hosts, Evelyn and Dennis are almost too good to be true. From the beautifully antiqued decorated rooms, the most incredible home cooked breakfasts, to the wine and cheese and great conversations each afternoon, you will leave Starr Mansion knowing that you will be back! Vallejo is so very close (approximately 7 miles) from the gateway to Napa Valley for excursions into the wine country. And minutes away from the ferry to take you across to San Francisco for a days outing. For the price, you HAVE to stay here. I was pricing conventional hotels/motels for the same or more money in this area. This is definitely an incredible bargain. Here's to you, Dennis and Evelyn, for many more years of success in this beautiful bed and breakfast that you have created.

Our stay at Star Mansion was great. Upon arrival the 6 well lit palm trees were absolutely beautiful and the well manicured grounds were a sign of things to come. The inside was just as impeccably maintained. The hosts, Dennis, Evelyn and Nancy were very hospitable and their attention to detail showed throughout the newly renovated property. The breakfasts were outstanding. We highly recommend this B&B for your stay. Well located, minutes away from Napa Valley and centralized between SF and Sacramento. Thanks for the memories. Their attention to detail, authenticity, and beauty are exquisite. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit from the friendly welcome, historical glimpses and significance of the originator of the property through the unique and delicious breakfast! It was a beautiful experience.

The stay was not long enough. We checked into another B&B in Napa just a few miles away and we wish we would have just stayed longer at the Starr Mansion.
