St Tropez Hotel

We stayed at the hotel for 3 of the worst nights we have ever had at a hotel! THe rooms were barley cleaned, people had been smoking in the room which was a non-smoking room. We I asked the front dest at 315 in the afternoon if we could have another room I was told they were full up and we could not be moved. I went for a walk and discovered that there were a lot of rooms that were empty! House keeping was just dumping garbage out of them. I asked one of the housekeepers if the room she was cleaning was vacant and she said that there were 20-25 vacant rooms in the hotel. They were told not to clean all the rooms that day so they had something to do over the next to days for work!

After this I was a liltle angry, but I kept my cool! When I get backed from golfing I discovered that we only had 3 pillows in our room with 2 F/S beds. I called the front dest and they said that someone would be up in a couple min., with some. This was at 730 pm. We put off going to dinner till the pillows showed up. Well at 9pm I called againg this time I was told that we must have lost one and that we would have to put any extra pillows for our room on a credit card or cash. So my wife & I had to share a pillow for that night.

The next morning I decided to go work our and soak in the hot tub. When I grabed a towel from the rack in the bath room and opened it I discovered that it had blood on it. It appeared not to have been washed but folded and put back on the rack! When I put the towel in a plastic bag and went to the front desk htey tried to tell me that I cut myself shaving and just used it. Well I am a firefighter and would have known if I had cut myself. But most of all I know the differance between fresh and dried blood. THis was dry blood but the desk clerk still told mr that it was from me. I asked him to show me where I had cut myself. I shave my head and face and I had no cut cuts or scrapes that he could find! After this I contacted the Clark County Fhire house just down the street and they helped me find another hotel! After talking with the Caption at the firehouse he informed me that this is not the first ime they had heard of problems at the hotel.

After we got home I tried several times to call the owner with no luck! I also sent a registered letter to the owner with no luck at hearing back.

SO DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

They had clean comfortable rooms. It was close to the airport and the strip.
