I found Roosevelt's and the Marriott in Carillon and I was pleasantly surprised. I live locally but often suggest hotels near the Airport for Family and Colleagues when they are in town. The Restaurant/Bar with live music makes it enough of a destination for locals! We'll be going for happy hour after work often - I highly recommend this Marriott. I checked out the conference rooms as well, and it seems like a great place for a conference or wedding. They have something big planned for New Year's Eve and the cool, modern setting with all the TV screens would be perfect for that!

Since I have had less than great results at Radissons in the past, I was leary but decided to chance it anyway because of the good rate of $99 per night. Boy, was I surprised when we arrived and discovered a gem. The front desk service was excellent and welcoming. There were cookies and fruit there, depending what time of day it was. The room was on the first floor but was enclosed behind a door which cut down on the noise factor. We were perfectly unaware that there was any foot traffic in the hallway.
The furnishings and linens were new and very comfortable. They reminded me of a more upscale hotel such as a Hilton or Sheraton. The sleep number king size bed was fun and comfortable. A coffeemaker with better coffee than usual was provided, along with a refrigerator and storage space inside a cabinet, rather than open. There were so many nice touches and we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.
