The St. Augustine Beach Front Resort located right at the beach, 4.7 miles from downtown St. Augustine.The St. Augustine Beach Front Resort is the closest beach hotel to downtown. Hotel is also ideal for the business traveler who wants to retreat to a tranquil oasis at the end of the day, offering miles and miles of white sand to sunbathe and build sandcastles. They also have plenty of water for guest to swim, surf and fish. At there pool they recently have installed a 116 foot waterslide to help provide fun and recreation. With most of the rooms offering an unobstructed view of the ocean, guest rooms are thoughtfully equipped and tastefully appointed. Each room features modern amenities for guest comfort and convenience. The business traveler will be delighted to note that they offer 5200 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space. 26 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Staying at this hotel was a nightmare. We stayed here for three nights on our honeymoon and did not have water or plumbing for half of that time.
What made it even worse was that the owner/manager of the hotel did not even seem sympathetic or try to help us. She told me that they could bring a bucket up to our room when I asked where I could use the bathroom. Then when asked about washing my hands she directed me to the pool. When it was time to check out she was no where to be found leaving the front desk staff to deal with a line of angry customers.
The rooms were dirty, the laundry was not done to supply enough towels, our peep hole did not work, and our bathroom door did not shut. I don't know where they got the pictures of their rooms on their website but it is not the room we stayed in!
