We liked everything. We had a beautiful room above the beach with a reach out and touch the deep blue water location. The room was destroyed in a later storm much to our chagrin. We did so many things that would have been cost preventive in another...
It was our favorite of all hotels in the world for 30 years. Simple, no TV (who needs it in paradise) no phones (Don't want to talk to anyone not near me). Wonderful staff who remembered our names. Great snorkeling in front of the Hotel, fine...

We were here on our honeymoon---30 years ago. Its the same--very laid back and casual just like us!! Very clean and the service is great. We hope all wasn't lost in the hurricane.
I have stayed at Sol Cabanas 5 times and have never had a bad moment, much less a bad stay. The service is supurb and the staff is a delight!! I have stayed there while travelling alone and with a group of 22 when my daughter was married there. ...

it's been a few years since we've been there but it was really a nice...comfy place. no loud carrying on...a place to just unwind and relax! no nightlife...you make your own. we had a casita..a little bungalow right on the sand! loved it! ...
I enjoyed Sol Cabanas for many reasons. The hotel was small and the staff called us by name. There was a nice restaurant on site apart from the hotel, right on the water. You could sit open air and feed the fish. The beach was very nice, clean...

Likes: The value! The rooms are clean and grounds are well maintained. The beach is just great. The location is quite and relaxed. The pool is small but never crowded. The food is as good as anything we had in town and the atmosphere is unbeatable....
