An evening at the brand new Sprinhill Suites in Kingman, AZ was a nightmare that we hope never to experience again. Upon arrival at this property, we were greated in our room to a half used bottle of water. A tour of the room clearly indicated that the floors in the bathroom had never been touched with a damp mop. Kingman, AZ in the summer is extremely hot. When we went into our room it was very warm and when we went to turn on the A/C we discovered that the termostat was set at 59 degree's and could not be adjusted. Still the room did not cool. We called the lady at the front desk and she came up and showed us the "trick" we needed to move the large bench that covers the vent. This is a very large bench that serves no functional purpose in your new Stage 4 design (don't get me started on the design of these rooms). We showed the young lady the other housekeeping problems in the room. So we froze all night getting up throughout the night turning the A/C Off and On. Next morning when our bill was slipped under the door, it wasn't even ours, it was for the room above ours. Knowing our concerns, the manager of the propery called our home on Tuesday afternoon and left a VM for us to give her a call which I did but she had left for the day. We asked the lady to have the manager call us in the next morning. We didn't hear from her yesterday 7/15/09 nor today 7/16/09.
I travel to Kingman once a month and I gaurantee I will always stay at the Hampton Inn from now on. In fact, I'm very much considering using Hilton for all of my future travels because of this experience.
Our family of 4 stayed in June 2009 for one night. We were very surprised and impressed with this hotel - it's brand new, with furnishings like a boutique hotel on the southern California coast. (Stylish and modern.) Good free breakfast, too. Our ro
Our family of four stayed in June 2009, driving from the Grand Canyon back to California. We really enjoyed the stay - it's a brand-new hotel, designed to resemble a boutique hotel in LA or NYC, maybe. Kind of a surprise on the AZ highway. All the f
