Southwind Motel

This motel could not even book the reservation the right way. A person named Kelly spoke of leaving my key under the mat of room if we arrived after closing time, essentially there would be no check in. She gave me no information on the room, no reservation number and simply took my credit card information. After deciding to call the next morning to confirm reservation and inquire about customer service quality I spoke with a Linda who could not even find any of my information I gave Kelly the night before and gave nothing but excuses for the horrible phone service that Kelly dispensed. After being disconnected suspiciously no one answered the phone for some time. After finally reaching them to request that they trash my credit card information and to complain about the bad phone service as I refuse to stay there at that point I was threatened with harassment from Kelly. With vague re-assurance that my credit card information would be disposed I immediately hung up the phone, contacted my bank and informed them of my suspicion regarding the business activities of the this motel. They placed an alert on my account regarding Southwind Motel in Key West, FL. I would urge everyone to avoid doing any business with this motel.
