I was really excited and looking forward to my stay at this Inn. We arrived and discovered that the room that we paid 200+ a night for was straight over the pool and directly across from the dumpster (and at 6:42AM the morning after we arrived, we were abruptly awakened by the clanging and banging of the trash pickup at these dumpsters.) The balcony was nearly at eye level with electric and phone and cable wires. This made for a very disappointing "room with a view" that we thought we were paying for at this HIGH cost!
The "free internet" was intermittent - one minute it was working, another minute it was not. You could see daylight under the door, where the door meets the door jamb. If they would "weather proof" the place, perhaps they'd save in utility bills and not have to charge such prices. But for a room that should have had an awesome view obstructed by wires, it was disheartening. I won't go back; instead, I'll make wiser choices next time I'm in Sedona - which by the way, is an absolutely awesome place.

Okay
Room was normal size with a ceiling fan, fireplace, shower, and separate jacuzzi tub. Our stay started with the cleaning person having left the heat on full blast. We had to leave the door open to the outside for some time to cool off the room. ...

There was enough room for all of us. It was cozy and sweet, it had a lovely balcony with beautiful views and the breakfast room and the meal were really good.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Southwest Inn at Sedona.
I might recommend it to friends.
