Good
The hotel is a really nice one that is complemented by the buffet that is offered to the residents. It is really close to the freeway and provides easy access to the surrounding businesses.

We decided to stay at this hotel because some of the websites had 3 star rating for this hotel.
Upon arrival we found out that the rating was incorrect. The lobby was nice but the staff was rude. They had not receive my booking information from the online travel agency and despite the fact that I had print out of my booking, they asked us to wait in the lobby and told us it may take 2-3 hours before we can check in. After I called my travel agency, the hotel magically found my information without my travel agency doing anything extra.
When we checked into the rooms, we were very disappointed. It was worse than cheap 1 star local motel. The furniture was old and the rooms smelled. Then we found bugs in the room. We asked for refund but were denied. We decided to leave the hotel and go somewhere else. We lost our money and time. We hope you don't.

The room was nice; the water pressure was very low.
I stayed on the 3rd floor; the hallways had no air working, so at 95 degree weather, you can't breathe. I was having a hard time breathing by the time I was in the room. Once I got checked in, it was nice, but when I asked about the discount my card told me about, they were very rude. My discount card said 50% off the highest published fair. It was just me, and they said they could not give me a group rate. I tried to explain to them I never asked for a group rate, just a discount. The in-house reservations lady was rude. Then she understood what I was talking about and gave me $10.00 of the price, I said thank you, every little bit counts. The highest published fair was 89. for a bed, and they gave it to me for 79.00. That was ok, but for the price for a night. My real complaint is that I could not breathe in their hotel, I had to go into my room for comfort.

The hotel had easy access to the highway. It had a full range of services available including a pool, a bar, a restaurant and computer services. The room interiors were a bit out of date but they appeared to be in the process of updating some of them.
I am not likely
to return to the Southfork Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I was pleased with the very nice location, the beautiful furnishings, but I could not make the conference room projection equipment work and the ordered cookies were never delivered to the meeting. However, other food ordered prior to that was delivered.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Southfork Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.
