Southernmost on the Beach Hotel - Page 1

The hotel was situated on a very lovely beach, which included a restaurant where we had breakfast every morning. The scene was beautiful and the hotel was great. It was a little bit off the main drag, which we liked as we did not have to hear the crowds all night, but we were close enough to walk to the attractions.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The scene was so tranquil and beautiful that we instantly felt relaxed. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking into the ocean. Floating in the pool was also very calming.

The room was clean and cheerful. The view was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was wonderful and the rooms were very clean. It’s nothing real fancy, but clean and welcoming. We had a nice large shower big enough for two! The restaurants were within walking distance, and they have a bicycle and scooter rental on site. The only downfalls were that there was no Jacuzzi and the walls are thin. Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Southernmost was the best of both worlds. It was near enough to the Duvall Street tourist attractions, but far away enough not to be overpowered by the party atmosphere. The beach, especially the beach cafe, was particularly enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our large wedding party.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was extremely friendly. They made an effort to welcome us and hold our bags because we arrived early. They got to know everyone in our party and our wedding weekend itinerary. They offered great suggestions for local restaurants and attractions.

The beach with a beach bar was right across from our room. We could watch the sun set over the gulf from our first floor room. The room and the bathroom were clean, and everything worked as it should. It was two blocks from the Southernmost Point, within walking distance of the main drag on Duvall Street, and a liquor store and some nice local eateries. This place is a must stay!

This hotel made me feel hip: The location made me feel like we had picked the perfect spot in Key West, we could to the liquor store and get beer for the beach, get something to eat at the beach bar, and hang around before walking to the bars at night. The fact that we got all of this for the relatively low price, and the hotel was not a dump, made me feel like we knew what we were doing.
