Southernmost Hotel

The wife and I went to Key West for our honeymoon and stayed at the Southernmost. Great location on the southern end of Duval St. It's a pretty good walk to the other side of the island, but who wants to drive down Duval anyway? The hotel was a few blocks from most of the action and noise - close enough to walk there in a couple minutes, but plenty far enough to be away from the noise and crowds. And it's also one of the cheaper hotels on the island. Great value for the money.

My only complaint is, when we were there the hot tub wasn't working. But that was a fairly minor inconvenience. The free parking more than made up for it.

I thought that the location was wonderful and the view was beautiful. It was close to everything but not too close. The pool and the hot tub were very nice and the hotel bar was very accommodating.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The beds were comfortable and the front desk helped with whatever we needed. There was hotel security around the clock.

The hotel has an excellent location, near beach. The room on the first floor provided no view. They had access to other properties owned by this hotel. It is in a quiet area.

We were there after a recent hurricane and the facilities were in tip-top shape. Everyone was very helpful.

If you're a motorcycle rider this is the best place to stop in Key West, at the end of Highway 1. Many riders stay here. You can walk out of your room right onto the deck of the pool and relax. The Tiki bar is well stocked and the staff is friendly. We received a complimentary meat and cheese tray for New Year's as we are frequent guests. Prices are higher during the holidays and Fantasy Fest.
