Southern Hills Inn Motel - Page 1

We had reservations, and they knew we would be arriving late at night. We rang and rang, finally a female exited a room adjusting her clothes. We had 3 rooms, one had dirty sheets, won't mention what we found on them. One of the other rooms had a shreaded towel with mascara on it. And it was just all around filthy. People were smoking wasky-tabacky and drinking hanging outside their rooms. Probably hourly rentals!!! We planned on staying a week, but needless to say we got out of their early the next morning and stayed on down the road. I filed a complaint with the Chamber of Commerce after our trip.

Flop House. - rooms smelled - smoke detectors torn off the wall - sheets stained - carpet not vacumed - mold in bathroom. Signs up - don't drink out of your room - no guns....my young son stated it looked like the movies in the "red light" districted. They need to clean it up. when I was young and it had been a Best Western it was a wonderful place - but now its for I would say people that live on paydays and may be down on there luck. Families need to stay away from there. [...]

I liked the nice size room. But the hotel was under renovations at the time we were staying there.

I have stayed at this motel about 6 or 7 times now, and it's hard to watch it deteriorate. Many times the pool has no water or is not working and that's very disappointing. Motel needs some heavy duty work!
