I loved it. My partner and I truly loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious. Unfortunatly the spa was not finished when we arrived in the middle of Aug. 2006 but it was enough to do so that that was not a big deal. The restaurants'food was delicious. Just remember to have your own transportation even though it offers transportation to and from the strip it is really not suitable if you want to see alot of the sights.

I am very likely to return to the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was a very nice hotel as far as the casino hotel, but the facility there was not the best.

The hotel and the casino were incredible. They are always clean and they have an extremely friendly staff.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The rooms were always fixed up well every day and we never needed anything extra since everything was provided. The pool and the hot tubs were incredible and everyone in general went out of their way to help you out if needed.

I am very likely to return to the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was a bit too far from the main Las Vegas Strip. The shuttle to Mandalay was fine. After that an all day bus pass is recommended. The service at the hotel was good. The pool hours were too limited.

I am somewhat likely to return to the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.

I loved the hotel and the experience. I wished it had a better shuttle system to uptown events.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The hotel room was nice and quiet when we wanted to sleep. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathrooms were large and clean with plenty of great soap products.

I am very likely to return to the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The location was way off the Las Vegas Strip. It was quiet but it was hard to arrange transportation. It had a very different feel than on the Strip. It was good value.

I liked that fact that there was plenty of security and you could get to the buffet to eat without a long line. I did not like that it was so far from the Strip.

This hotel made me feel secure: In order to get to the elevators that took you to your room you had to show your hotel key. It appeared to be plenty of staff around and in the hotel.

I felt very safe in this casino. It was very clean and well staffed. My only complaint would be that the friendliness of the staff at some of the restaurants was less than desired. Also the speed of getting food at most of the restaurants was very slow.

This hotel made me feel secure: The hotel was very clean and well taken care of, so I knew just by looking at it that the owners cared. Also, the fact that you could not get to the pool or the elevators to the room without showing your room key made me feel much more safe. I knew there would be no random people roaming the hallways.

I am somewhat likely to return to the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.
I might recommend it to friends.

After our tour of Southwest UT, we decided to save some money and stay away from the popular Las Vegas strip area. We have stayed in hotels on the strip and off the strip on past visits. This hotel had the best room so far. We stayed on the 19th floor and got a Saturday night room rate in June 2007 for $110.00. The room had a nice comfortable king size bed and a flat screen t.v. The bathroom was huge and had a seperate sink area. The room had a large picture window with a great view of the mountain range near South Las Vegas. We used our coupon from the hotel and had dinner at the Itallian restaurant. It was good and reasonably priced. The location is 6 miles from the strip. You do have to go through a lot of stop lights to get to the hotel. We had a rental car, so it was no problem to travel the extra miles.

My wife and I recently stayed at the South Point. We chose it for the many amenities, including a shuttle to and from the strip and the airport, as well as the great rate we received on our room.

The room was great, the bed was comfortable and the 42" plasma TV. was a nice touch as well. If you are thinking of staying at the South Point and are attracted to it because of the shuttle, you would be better served staying elsewhere. Our third night in Las Vegas we had to wait for two shuttles before we could finally get on one (limited seating capacity), and our last night in Vegas we waited for 45 minutes on the last shuttle (other guests had been waiting for over an hour. Worried that there would not be a last shuttle, several of us called the hotel and spoke with the Assistant Front Office Supervisor who informed us that there was nothing that she or the hotel could or would do for us in the event that the shuttle didn't arrive, and that we were more than welcome to call a cab!

The hotel was beautiful. The casino was not unpleasant to walk through, not a lot of smoke. It seemed very clean and the furnishings and linens were gorgeous!

This hotel made me feel excited: I was thrilled at the beauty of the casino.

It’s relatively new with very nice accommodations. The restaurants food needs improvement.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The rooms were large. They had great wall-mounted TV's. They had good maid service.

It’s a good value for the price. It’s close to the Strip, but still quiet at night. It is suitable for children as it’s away from the street hawkers. It has a very nice room and pool.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: There was plenty of room to walk around the casino. It had relaxed restaurants. There was a guard at the hotel elevators.

I am very likely to return to the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
