We just returned from a trip to South Coast and had a very nice stay. The winery grounds and hotel are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are large and well appointed. However when you book be sure to ask where the patio overlooks, each villa has a different view of the "vineyard", ours was a view of the parking area. Still very nice room.
Also if you need anything from guest services, like towels or ice, be repaired to wait....a long time!!! Our room was missing bath robes, we called and after an hour we called again then left for dinner, they were there when we returned. Then a call for ice (no ice machines) it never came waited 45 min and then went out. Now this may go with out saying but if you bring anything back to your room food or wine you will have ants. I know we were at a working vineyard still we left a small amount of wine in a glass and awoke up an ant hill (totally our fault). One last thing the wine is just ok much better wine in the area. We really liked Bella Vista just down the street.
