This small hotel is very conveniently located. There are a ton of restaurants within blocks of the hotel, and it's only a 5 minute drive from the San Diego Zoo.
The swimming pool is a bit small, but perfect for my four young boys. There's a snack time each afternoon where they provide drinks and light snacks and it's perfect for unwinding after a day at the theme parks.
We had a suite and it was quite spacious. The suite had a full kitchen stocked with cookware and utensils, so we were able to make a meal or two during our stay.
The only real negatives were that the room could use some updating, and the carpet was very dirty. We had black feet after a prolonged period walking around the room.
