43 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Loved the pool and the friendly waiters/staff. Beach immediately outside the hotel is well kept and clean but further along towards the Medina it is very dirty and strewn with rubbish. Sewage leaked on to the beach on our final day after heavy rain, but no idea if this is normal or if there was a burst pipe. Good selection of food in the evening tho breakfast a bit samey. Room clean and comfortable with lovely view of the sea.
Didn't like the rude girl on reception, hassle to buy/do things, Pirate Boat trip (birdie song music, couple of men clowning around then home). Felt we were misled in this respect as we were told it was "a swim with the dolphins". There were no canoes or dinghys on the beach so not a lot to do if you didn't want to sunbathe, despite the brochure promoting these things.
