Sofitel Trilec Nanchang is located in the heart of the citys new business district and features 186 rooms, 3 restaurants, a karaoke bar, nightclub, business centre, tennis court, spa, indoor swimming pool and banqueting facilities. Nanchang is the capital of Jiangxi Province and is situated on the south western shore of Poyong Lake, Chinas largest freshwater lake. Historic attractions, including Shengjin Pagoda, Ruzi Pavilion and Shuiguanyin Pavilion, are located within the city perimeter.

63 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I have traveled internationally since 1988 and am truly disappointed in this "Sofitel" hotel.
It is not Sofitel (have stayed in Sofitles in Europe, Vietnam, North America) - this is a 3 star hotel with a 5 star lobby. As part of a group of 6 persons stating for 7 nights, we would have expected better from Sofitel
1. The carpets in the rooms are filthy - black at the entrance and carries through the room. The rooms are not vacuumed regularly.
2. The air conditioning does not work (our 4 rooms on the south side are at 24.6) - I had to get a fan, open the room window and open hall door to keep the room cool (in November)
3. The restaurant is not "Western" - 2 pasta, 1 pizza, 4 sandwiches - please don't advertise a western restaurant
4. The staff are not helpful unless you have a Chinese person with you to breate them
It truly sad that a 5-star hotel chain has lent its name to this hotel.
