Stayed one night. Pictures on internet do not paint clear picture of this location. Drinks at bar (draft beer $8.00) and food menu prices are very high, rooms are dirty with spots on the rug and chairs, dirty windows with pigeon stuff on the ledges, no towels at pool and overall poor service from front desk staff. This hotel must of been great years ago, but needs some major fixing up. Overall, the hotel wants to paint a picture as a top quality 4 star European hotel, but it has far to go in my opinion. In the morning, I woke up to find take out menus (Chinese Food and Pizza) under my door and my room was on the 7th floor. Where was the security.
No great shakes for the money, but is close to airport with an early morning shuttle. Will not stay again.

I found the rooms to resemble an oversized Days Inn. The restaurant menu selection was limited and way over priced for what you got. The ice machines and soda machines did not work on most of the floors. There was an overall musty smell and dirty appearance to the place. The pool area was being renovated so not usable and it should have included free wireless and it did not.
I am not likely
to return to the Sofitel Miami.
I would not recommend it to friends.
