Sofitel Houston Hotel - Page 1

I thought it was a very nice hotel. The location was good but the pickup service was really bad. I called for pick up at the airport and we waited thirty minutes. Later I called again and we waited. Another service picked us up and when we got to the hotel they had not sent anyone out to pick us up. That was not good! The hotel was clean and comfortable.

The location was convenient and easy to access from the freeway. The room was comfortable and the entire property seemed well maintained. This hotel is slightly more expensive, but it has good amenities.

All was great except a large orange extension cord ran across the floor because a plug was not working. Everything else was just as to be expected.

This hotel made me feel important: They were very courteous and very business like.

The hotel seems a little outdated and in need of an upgrade or remodel. The price of the room was okay, but the restaurant was overpriced for the value.

The lobby and bar were very nice and elegant. The bed was not as comfortable as at other luxury hotels. The location was not great.
