50 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I found this hotel to be a little on the seedy side. The rates are low, but so they are at most of the places in Pigeon Forge. A jacuzzi "suite" was a bedroom with 2 king beds and a jet tub (not a Jacuzzi brand, either) in the corner of the bedroom. It had no walls around it. The air conditioner was noisy and blew straight onto one person (me); everyone else was too hot. The carpet appeared dirty to me. The bathroom was ever so tiny; it held only the commode and a small tub - and the bathroom sink was in the bedroom, not enclosed. This place charges your credit card for the entire stay, also, when you check in, and their policy (clearly stated on the registration form) is to not give a refund if you have to leave early, which I did have to leave one night early. They give a night's stay instead of a refund. The mgr. She told me she'd request a refund for me from the "executive office," and that she didn't think there would be a problem, but there was. They refused to give a refund. So, this was just a $70 lesson learned.
