I read all the "bad" reviews but kept our reservation anyway. We were wonderfully surprised. The place, although was very quaint, it was a fantastic value for the money. Rooms were decorated nicely, nothing fancy, but we were not looking for...

Okay
The feel of smoke tree is like an older cabin style with game room and pools. You are close enough to everything and just outside Grandfather Mountain's entrance.
