We booked our room online and arrived about 9 pm to check in. Very smooth process and we were soon in our adjoining rooms. We were very close to the pool and the kids loved it! Dad loved the hot tub. The room was comfortable and the shower was AWESOME! Large, well-lit shower, great water pressure and lots of hot water. Strong wireless connection in the room. Plenty of channels for surfing on the tube. Decent cont. breakfast in the a.m. Would def. stay again and recommend. Just wish the motel had its own driveway. You have to meander thru Machine Shed's lot to get in/out, but it was worth it.
as a handicapped person i appreciated the automatic entry doors and the handicap shower. the room had a thermostat on the wall so we didnt have to fiddle with the heat/ cooling unit under the widow. the beds were good. no complaints.
Well, I booked a non-smoking on Priceline and didn't get it. So there were no other rooms available, so had to take the smoking room. Yuck! Bathroom shower had mold in it and there were sunflower seeds on the flower. Tiny bathrooms, not made...

We often stay at this location and we love the free breakfast. The person who checked us in was helpful by allowing us to use the lobby computer to book our reservation. It was rather sad though that I could get a cheaper price by booking it online in the hotel lobby than I could at the desk.
The cost was less than other hotels.
I am very likely
to return to the Sleep Inn Urbandale.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
Not hard to find this location, but if you like to crack your window open at night for some fresh air, make sure your room is on one of the sides not facing the busy interstate--very noisy.

I loved this hotel and will stay here again. The only problem we had was that our room key was deactivated after one night and we were staying for three nights.
