My spouse and I stayed here overnight – Posted Dec 07, 2007

Good

My spouse and I stayed here overnight for a family emergency. Was clean, restful and continental breakfast was a good value. The pool appears to be under construction. Was not there long enough to check out the exercise area or hot tub.

I liked it because they gave us a discount, it was late and we just needed a place to sleep.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Sleep Inn & Suites.
I might recommend it to friends.

Good

It was convenient for our attending the state wrestling tournament. It was close to eating establishments and shopping. The price was right and comfort was great.

The desk person was friendly and had our reservations ready. Whenever we passed by someone would ask if we were enjoying our stay.

I am very likely to return to the Sleep Inn & Suites.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

No sleep at the "Sleep Inn" – Posted Sep 26, 2006

Horrible
31 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

We were in Topeka for a wedding and had the unfortunate pleasure of staying here. They claim that this hotel has recently been renovated. It seems to have been renovated to an 80's style motel, I would have hated to have seen it before. The beds are like sleeping on boards, the pillows are like rocks, and the sheets are scratchy. There is no sleeping going on at the "Sleep Inn".

The room was relatively clean, minus the stray hair here and there. The huge problem, they have rubber mats in the shower. They obviously do not sanitize these properly, as I returned home with athlete’s foot from their shower.

The staff was horrible. The front desk staff would disappear for two hours at a time. When they were there, they were busy talking to their friends and playing loud heavy metal music. The breakfast was stale and there was very little offered. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel.

I had all I needed. The entrance to the bathroom made me feel at home as there were few doors. Shampoo, soap and hair dryer were available. The bed was comfortable and the linens were appropriate.

Horrible

The room was not clean and the bed was uncomfortable. There were not enough pillows, and the pillows that were provided were very inferior quality.
