The property is newly renovated in January 2008. We are now 100 percent smoke free hotel. The property is adjacent to the airport. We are located in a quiet, park setting. Our friendly staff, always ready to assist you. Free deluxe continental breakfast.
From I-75: take exit 213 (University Parkway) 6 miles. Head west on University Pkwy, towards the Airport. Go 13 traffic lights,turn left on our driveway,between the Hyatt Place and Courtyard hotel, all the way in the back.
From US 41 turn onto university parkway,turn right just past the first traffic light,Sleep Inn is behind the Hyatt Place and Courtyard hotel.

what a find!!! The hotel is behind COURTYARD and Hyatt place(as you can see they are in great company)on university parkway. My reservations were messed up at HYATT place so I went there. Lobby was spacious and smelled great.You could not ask for a more helpfull staff.the room was Clean,bed was SO COMFORTABLE,I did not want to get up. The continental breakfast was more than adequate.PERFECT FIND.

Being stranded at the SARASOTA AIRPORT I had no car,so I asked the US AIR PERSON where I could stay and he suggested SLEEP INN .To be honest, I was looking for the CHEAPEST,CLOSEST HOTEL that I could walk to. So I walked over to the SLEEP INN.By the time I got there, I was so stressed and tired,I was shaking AND crying.The lady at the desk smiled at me and asked me how she could be of help? I told her my story, and she was my ANGEL OF MERCY. She got me a bottle of water, lead me to a sofa, made me sit down and then she took care of checking me in.. She even walked me to my room.. The next morning she was working as well and when she found out that I was going to walk over to the airport,she DROVE me over to the airport herself. THE GOOD LORD must have been looking out for me and lead me to MY SLEEP INN. I claim THIS SLEEP INN AS MINE and they are now my FRIENDS FOR LIFE..

found this hotel on line so what the heck, booked it. Staff was very efficient. the hotel was very pleasant room was clean and SMELT CLEAN.Got up in morning opened the shower door and WOW, IT WAS A WALK IN SHOWER. It had plenty of space and that is what I liked. I wiill be back.

LOCATION WAS CONVIENENT(RIGHT ACROSS THE AIRPORT) CLEAN ,COMFORTABLE,OUTSTANDING STAFF!!! AND THE KING SIZE PILLOW-TOPPER BED WAS TO DIE FOR.... I literally did not want to get up in the morning.

Everyone treated me very well at the Sleep Inn. The rooms were extremely comfortable and helped me get a good night's sleep away from home. I am thankful I picked this hotel to stay...

Nice room, conveniently located to what I arranged my trip for, very helpful staff.Hot water, temperature was moderately acceptable but did not heat up to [my] expected temperature. I would most certainly stay there again.
