My stay at the Sleep Inn-Sarasota Airport was simply a pleasure! I got to experience the beautiful, warm, Sarasota weather at its best by lounging in the hotel's outdoor pool. The staff offered lot's of suggestions for ways to spend my time in the city, as well as giving me inside tips to the best beaches. My king sized room was very comfortable and very clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and recommend the Sleep Inn as the perfect retreat.

The Sleep Inn-Sarasota Airport recently underwent a complete renovation and it shines like a brand-new gem! I thoroughly enjoyed my brand-new room which was completed new. From the new carpet to the sleep-like-a-baby beds to the modern looking furniture, I loved my new room! The staff was friendly as always and the breakfast also got an update with more items added to the selection. Suffice it to say, we will definitely be back again next month for our business trip and will stay only at this hotel.

new onwers with different goals. Nice location, easy to find but not seen on main road. Made me feel I had privacy. I stayed in a room where they had started their renovation. The old wallpaper had been replaced with that nice texturized paint. General Manager explained that they were in an new mode, as the new owenrs had high expectations to step up the "guest experience." Landscaping was being installed while I was there. New lobby is next. Saw the interior design people there as the owners were picking out new furniture and bedding packages. I like to feel secure and rest well when I travel. This hotel had visible security monitors, and interior corridors. Helps me feel ok in a strange city when I am on the road. Breakfast was good. They told me they will have a fitness room by Spring. Will come back as work reguires...but this is my choice for Sarasota/Bradenton...good value for the $.

I am very likely to return to the Sleep Inn Sarasota.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel staff was friendly. However, the fruit they served for breakfast was rotten and they did not remove them until the next day. On the other hand, the hotel was very reasonably priced.

I am very likely to return to the Sleep Inn Sarasota.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Best Hotel in Sarasota!! After hours on the road, we pulled into this palace like hotel. Just from the outside, anyone can tell this hotel is peaceful and kept up. The landscaping was beautiful. It reminded of us of being in a secluded resort rather than a busy city. The staff were the friendliest people we've encountered in a long time and really gave us a taste of Florida hospitality! After checking in, our stay got even better.. our room was very very clean and the modern look of the rooms were an added bonus for our money spent. They had all the amenities any guest could want AND had high speed internet access.. what more could a traveler ask for? Maybe an outdoor pool? Yes, they had that too and my kids really enjoyed it! The breakfast in the morning was really delicious! Overall, this hotel was one of the best we've ever stayed at and anyone traveling through the area should only stay at the Sleep Inn of Sarasota! You wont regret it!

I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting my family. While breakfast and staff helpfulness is important, the room is the most important part of my stay. And this met all my requirements: clean room, clean bathroom, and I liked that although the hotel was close to the airport, you didn't hear any noise from the airport. It was secluded yet close to all of the area attractions we wanted to see, especially the Ringling Museum and Lido Beach down the road. Great value for what I paid.

The personnel were very friendly. The airport noise was not noticeable. I stayed in a smoking room and it was run down a bit. I was told the non-smoking rooms were recently renovated. The pool was directly outside my window so I couldn't really open my curtains. The price was good though and convenient to my local destinations.

I am very likely to return to the Sleep Inn Sarasota.
I might recommend it to friends.

First off, as soon as you walked into the lobby there was a horrible smell. The smell was all throughout the hotel, even in the rooms. The girl that was supposed to be working the desk was there one time out of the five times I went to the desk. She was either smoking outside or on her cell phone.

When we received our room, the queen bed that we thought we were getting was a double and our room had no smoke detector. When I asked the girl at the desk about our bed, she said ''Believe it or not, that is a queen bed''. After I mentioned that our room had no smoke detector, she said 'Oh please don't tell anybody that. We could get in a lot of trouble'. She then moved us to another room on the second floor.

When we checked in, the air conditioner in our room was turned off and it was hot. In the hallway, we found a dead dried up frog with a dead bug attached to it. This room smelled just as bad and half the lights in our room were blown out.

The wall had holes in it where the towel rack had obviously been moved numerous times after falling off. The side table also fell off the wall and when it did, we noticed that it had also been reattached after falling off before.

Overall, we had a horrible stay and we were very disappointed with everything about the hotel. Our stay at the Sarasota Sleep Inn was terrible and we will never stay here again when we visit Sarasota in the future, nor will we ever recommend it to anyone.

I am not likely to return to the Sleep Inn Sarasota.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Other motels in Sarasota were fully booked when I booked Sleep Inn at the end of December, due to a soccer tournament. The management of Sleep Inn could have handled the loudness of the soccer players and the coaches in a better manner.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Sleep Inn Sarasota.
I might recommend it to friends.

I usually stay in Comfort or Quality, but this was all that was available. It was dirty, no towels, no pillows, mattress was hard, no place to eat the breakfast they gave, which was all junk food. This was the worst place and everyone there was complaining.

I am not likely to return to the Sleep Inn Sarasota.
I would not recommend it to friends.
