I read these reviews and was very nervous because when I read them all of the other hotels in the area were booked. I came in expecting a not great hotel and instead was pleasantly surprised. Now I am not going to say I didn't have problems, I was moved once because of the AC not working correctly, and the remote in my room needed new batteries but other than that my room was pleasant I saw no bugs or roaches as some of the other reviews have stated and I stayed over a week.
The staff was amazing the maintenance man, Bernard was very polite and helpful, he was able to fix any problems I had with the room with in the same day. he even worked to fix the ac in the first room before I was moved.
Michael the manager, was amazing he was completly in control and worked as if he owned the hotel and it was his baby. There was a problem with one of the rooms in my group and he came back to the hotel after picking up his child and cleaned their room from top to bottom. I was amazed!
and the front desk staff had its ups and downs two of the girls were amazing, Erika and Jackie were helpful, respectful, polite and wonders with their jobs, When I checked in Jackie spoke with me and made me feel at home instantly and Erika was a doll when I had problems and needed to be moved. as for the other front desk employee's its hard to find good help these days, as evidenced by the face that Jackie was here on Friday even then again on Saturday all day and then again on Sunday! But even with repeated 16 hour shifts she was all smiles and cheer.
I would recommend that you stay here and give these employees a chance to make you smile. And the manager couldn't be nicer! The owner has a gem in him They really made my stay worth while!
