39 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
It was in an excellent location. It had easy access to a major highway. I was slightly uneasy booking it because of other people's comments on the website but it was what fit my budget. We were pleasantly surprised to find the staff courteous, the surrounding area pleasant, and the room clean and in good condition.
A comment on the website from a previous customer had stated that the area wasn't too safe. Having lived there many years ago, I didn't think things had changed that much. Therefore, I went ahead and made the reservation. When I arrived, I found that the parking lot was well lit and the surrounding area was generally clean. Other comments indicated that the room wasn't that great either. When we got to the room, it was clean, the carpet wasn't worn, the sheets were fresh and nothing in the room looked overly used. The rate I paid was quite a bit lower than what I found at several sites. All those things considered, I was quite happy.
