35 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for business
Staff was friendly, room was okay - both breakfast and the afternoon snacks served was good. This was a business trip and the situation was such that my business partner and I shared a room to keep costs down. Being on a business trip, both of us had desk work to get done and there was barely enough room for one person at the in-room desk.
The BUT is in regards to work being done on the outside security camera system. I just happend to be sitting in my car when the work was being done and the worker was just ripping the wires off of the building, with obviously no regard to the close proximity of customer vehicles, and two cable clamps (one with nail still attached and one with a large screw attached) hit the hood of my new car. I can understand the first one, but after the rather obvious audiable "ping" the first one made as it struck the hood of my car, the second one was unexcusable! FI! Needless to say after the second one hit my car, I moved out front and away from any such nonsense.
BIG IMPROVEMENT AFTER NEW MGMT.

Horrible
Hotel had recent been damaged due to flood. Rooms smelled bad and "FREE" breakfast was a $3 coupon to Waffle House (YUCK!). Noisy people running up and down stairwells all night, noise from nearby highway could be heard in room.
Very unpleasant experience. The desk clerk had an attitude, the coffee in the lobby was cold, and my room smelled like mildew. I stayed here 3 years ago, but this place has gone down hill.

The room was a little small, but it was fine, otherwise. The front desk people were extremely nice and friendly. I liked that it had a nice, little exercise room. The location was very close to the bridge tournament I attended, as well as nice restaurants and shopping.
The bed was really comfortable, and so were the pillows.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Sleep Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
