Everything was perfect here, but this area is definitely not one of the ritzier parts of the city. Working class people live in the area and own mom and pop businesses, but that wasn't a problem. There is very little transportation over here and no metro train, but the owner states this and only rents to those people who are driving. I felt very much at home, which is what this place is and it's quiet at night. Very nice and superbly clean accommodation with quality furnishings. You do need a car, but you get free downtown parking, which is unheard of in DC and street parking at the condo. Not bad for a private rental in this Northeast DC area and definitely better than anything I have ever heard of. This was way cleaner and better than the hotels I have stayed at on New York Avenue and some high priced ones I like in other parts of the city. I highly recommend this place if you want to save money and have luxuries like satellite tv and internet and free parking. I will stay again each time I visit DC.
