Sky Ranch Lodge Traveler Review

We had a horrible stay!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the property; boy were we wrong!

The location and grounds are peaceful, there is no denying that, but the staff and our experience here was miserable. We paid over a hundred dollars paid for a sleepless, disturbing night. We were on the bottom floor of a two story building. Upon returning to our room after dinner, we were welcomed by what sounded like a ceiling about ready to cave in whenever the guests moved above. It was loud and disturbing, almost like metal rubbing on metal muffled by a pillow. We could not contact the office because it was past office hours. Our sleep on a horrible mattress was interrupted at 12, 2, and from 5:15 until 7 (when the guests above left). What was intended to be a relaxing night away was ruined.

We high tailed it to the office as soon as they opened at 7, only to be greeted with the phrase, "Yeah, that's what happens when you stay on the bottom floor". We obviously were not satisfied with that answer, so we asked to speak with the manager. To make this long saga a bit shorter, when we finally spoke with her, we were lied to and are still waiting for a call back.

We have stayed at many places in Sedona, and have enjoyed each of our experiences. Never again will we stay here. We do not want to spend our vacations in the company of those who practice bad business.

I am not likely to return to the Sky Ranch Lodge.
I would not recommend it to friends.
