30 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

Terrible hotel stay. Would never stay again. I regularly book hotels

via online search engines, and usually have got great hotel

stays, experience and deals. This is the first time I would say it turned into a

really bad one. So I am sharing to benefit someone.

AC noise is deafening. We requested a room change, but were told every

other room has the same problem. all the while during our 3 night stay

there was no proper service by the front desk staff. Especially the

front desk guys - who just stand and listens and do nothing to ensure good

guest experience.

Parking is not available - one has to either find parking out in the

street or are you need to use the hotels valet service at $18 per day charge.

wireless Internet sevice is charged at $10 an hour and the connection

is slowww...for a 3 star i expected free internet service. expecially

now s days when a near by food places have wireless for free!

to make it worse on the morning of out checkout, i informed the front

desk guy that we are going to check out in half an hour instead of 11

am check , usually if you request a late check out from an star hotel

(this being 3 star!!- big mistake) - its given that you can easily get

out by 12 noon w/o any problem. instead with sixty sixty staff i had to

pay an extra $45 even after letting them know that we are checking out

in the next 20 mins.

avoid the hotel and avoid a bad expirience is all i can say. hope this

helps somebody.

27 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

When I saw Sixty Sixty on the web I thought it looked amazing, but the trouble I went through was another story! There is no hot tub, it's drained with yellow caution tape around it. The pool has about two feet in sun, the rest is under the building. So there is about two chairs you can lay in to get some sun. Good luck getting one, and if you do, and your a girl all of the construction workers next store will whistle at you the whole time. There is also no restaurant/dining in the hotel that is open as advertised. It's $18 per car per night to park your car valet, which is your only option. My car was parked there for four nights and on the last day I noticed that the weather-strip thats between the window and door was missing. I know these things just don't fall off, so someone was trying to get into my car. I thought I was paying them to watch my car! Thank god nothing was missing but it still was crappy that I was paying $18 a night for nothing! When I pointed it out to the front desk the guy was real rude and told my that it had nothing to do with the hotel and I'd have to take it up with the valet service. He told me to call the valet service number on the back of my valet ticket. Well, I got to my room and no number! I then called the

front desk and spoke to the same rude guy and he said he didn't have the number in front of him and that he was busy! He was sitting on his fat butt all night, doing nothing! He practically hung up on me. My boyfriend and I were there for four nights so we ended up paying $144, plus tipping, just in crappy valet parking! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! Worst case of terrible customer service I ever dealt with, I wasn't expecting much since it's Miami Beach, but come on! Also don't count on them giving you your requested wake-up call. I don't know if the fat rude guy didn't give us the wake up call because I was complaining about

my car or what but the wake-up call didn't happen!

I liked the lobby of this art deco building. That's about all.

The people who worked there were ok, but not especially helpful when we had questions. (Most of the people working in the tourist businesses in Miami seemed snobby!) The rooms were o.k., and it was nice to have a microwave, mini-fridge, and a few plates. The restaurant was not opened, and we were not given any reason why. They acted like we should've known that it would be closed, I don't know why we would expect that.

Also, the hot tub was like a hot bath, because it had no incoming pulsating water. When we asked about it they informed us that it was a "hot tub" not a "Jacuzzi". (Another technicality we should have figured out!) Please, the thing was broken!

The views from the upper floors are great and the room was brand new. The beach across the street was very nice and the staff was very friendly. I just hope that the restaurant will be open next time.

I am very likely to return to the Sixty Sixty Miami Beach.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This hotel was very convenient to the port where we boarded a ship for a cruise. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going on a cruise. It is near a shopping area as well.

I am very likely to return to the Sixty Sixty Miami Beach.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
