The creation of Sirkeci Konak Hotel was the fruit of an innovative focus based on combining the old 19th century Ottoman Mansion style with modern 21st century comfort. The rooms are elegantly decorated in compliance with traditional Ottoman style, soft wall lighting, including LCD screen TV, satellite, central air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, coffee & tea maker, mini bar, safe box and hairdryer. 68 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This is a lovely little hotel and the staff is the most caring, friendly you can wish for. Mr. Agan and Mr. Cihan at the front office, Miss Pelin and Miss Merekse, were so helpful and made everyone feel so special. The waiters and waitresses and the porters, all great. Everyone went way beyond their duties. Now to our room - it was not large, I know they have bigger rooms, but it was neat and clean and we had a little balcony, the beds were comfortable and we loved the bathroom - it had not only a heated towel rack, a whirlpool bath, magnifying mirror, bathrobes and the floor was heated too, which was so nice since we were there in December. The hotel has a nice Hamami in the basement, where one can also have very reasonable and good massages, work out in the gym or enjoy the sauna. I want to mention Miss Pelin and Miss Merekse again, because they are untiring in making arrangements for you, getting reservations, making suggestions about day trips, etc. It is the perfect small hotel in a convenient location and I recommend it highly.
