Okay
pros: centrally locatedThe accomadations are just ok. The course and the mansion are beautiful. The spa service that I received was average. I would reccomend a massage over a body wrap. I was a tad cold in the room, however the people were friendly....

Mediocre
My friend and I recently met for a girls' get away at the Silverado. We were both very disappointed with the service and the amenities. The room was overpriced and smelled musty ( I noticed this in another suite I had stayed in on a business trip)....
Beautiful grounds. The rooms are not worth the price, but the main mansion and restaurants are gorgeous. The weekends have a lively bar with music and drinks.

the layout is excellent; the facilities are very accessible. the grill restaurant was very good. the walls in the suites seemed thin, and noise at the property carries (specifically, the band for a wedding reception there was audible throughout). i thought the price tag was a little high for what you get, though; the property is dated from a cosmetic standpoint.

Okay
Stayed at the Silverado after I found a great rate for Sunday-Thursday nights which included a few complimentary tastings at local wineries and discount coupons for other businesses in the area. The rate ended up being for their smallest...

I stayed in the one bedroom fireplace suite. I was shocked that it was about 2 miles up the road from the check in, but they do have a shuttle that takes you from the resort to your room if you need one, not sure how late/early it runs. It was an amazing room, very clean, with a full sized kitchen. I would love to come back and make a weekend of it.

All of the items on the website exist at the resort. The staff and facilities are first rate. The fact that was unclear was, we were actually staying at another property that is a mile down the road. Our room, although very nice, faced the parking lot, not the golf course. The ice machine was a hundred yards away and when we arrived in our room it was 92 degrees because the AC was switched off. We had to turn the AC on and DRIVE back to the main resort just to wait until the room was habitable. While we waited, we ate at the grill, the food was excellent and the service was very good.

Worst Customer Experience Ever..... My sister and her husband were staying at the Silverado over the Labor Day weekend and my brother-in-law collapsed on the golf course and ended up passing away four days later. I flew in to Napa along with my parents to be with my sister during her horrible ordeal. Not at one time did anyone from the management staff ever contact my sister to inquire as to how she was doing, if she needed anything and so on. Their front desk was rude and insulting to my sister when she tried to check in her step children who arrived to be with their father. The majority of the resort staff were unaware that anything terrible had happened at their property and showed no compassion or understanding to us during our stay. We checked out two days early. They did not even provide us with additional bedding for the sofa bed or additional towels. They were also hosting a wedding on the one Saturday night and upon our return from the hospital we had to avoid several drunk patrons walking through the parking lot.....no security around anywhere. I could go on and on with other details but that would be like writing a book. I would not recommend this resort to anyone!!!!!
I am not likely
to return to the Silverado Resort.
I would not recommend it to friends.
