Excellent
We enjoyed the stay at Silver Cloud. The staff are excellent, rooms clean, and the beds are super comfortable. Breakfasts are great and the wine and cheese get together was fun! Would stay here again.
Much better value elsewhere.

Horrible
pros: None I stayed at the Silver Cloud over by University Village recently and will not stay there again, nor will I recommend it to friends or family. The hotel was nice when it first opened, but it has gone downhill.
40 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel sits in the perfect area. Walking distances to restaurants and sights are minimal. However, we requested a room with a king size bed and were placed in a room with two queens. They balked when we requested a new room with a bigger bed. They gave the usual we are fully booked excuse. After ten minutes of discussion, we finally got the room we asked for and the manager threw in a dinner at the restaurant to make up for the argumentative nature of the desk staff.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Silver Cloud Inn University.
I might recommend it to friends.

after spending two nights at the holiday inn express for free (priority club points) i was disappointed with the room at the silver cloudno early check-in.(no bottled water, no microwave popcorn) and noisier (thin walls?)on the plus side it was...
