It was above expectations for service. The staff was very attentive. It has a perfect location, within walking distance to many fine restaurants. I suggest you bring roller blades, bikes, or running gear, as there is a great paved pathway along the bay. The zoo and gardens are close by, the museum and other attractions are within ten minutes. You should double check your pricing options as some discounts don't count for Friday night.
They went out of their way to provide flowers and champagne as requested. There were no disturbances of any kind during our stay. They were quietly attentive. They had the best staff I've met in a hotel in a long time.
I am very likely
to return to the Silver Cloud Inn Tacoma.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Our stay was to be a romantic getaway to a beautiful location. What we got was a bed that sagged like a hammock! With back problems and lying in bed for an hour, ending up in pain and tears, complaining, trying another bed to have it only be worse, we packed up and moved to another hotel at one in the morning. The staff charged us a full night's stay and would not budge on a refund. The hotel we ended up at gave us the first night complimentary because they felt bad. We couldn't believe a place this nice would be so unaccommodating!
