Lovely hotel, good service, nice facilities, intimate ambiance and Casino.. stylish dining.. good happy hour value and setting, lovely location right on the Truckee river.. friendly staff.. best hotel in Reno, if seeking a new-style Reno hotel experience.. one small negative - room a bit small, compared to the size of the King-size bed, but great bed. Did not take advantage of the Spa facilities, but they sounded great.

It had a super comfortable bed and pillows. It had a clean bathroom, but I would've liked two sinks. There was a noisy motor or pump running constantly.
I received a professional greeting and they had good valet service.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Siena Hotel Spa and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel itself was nice, but serious work needs to be done in the area of reservations and billing.
We had a 02/24/07 reservation that was made directly through the Siena Web site. Toward the end of January, a full charge for the room showed up on our banking statement.
When we checked in on 02/24, with the Siena's own confirmation number and correct check-in date in hand, we told them we had already been billed for the room. They responded that they had no record of the charge, and that we'd be billed again when checking out.
So, we had to research our online banking statements and find the reference number that proved they'd already billed us. When we produced the reference number, they tried to explain that they must have thought we were checking in at the end of January and billed us as a "no show." Really? That explanation didn't wash.
While they did eliminate the double billing, management has refused to respond to my e-mail queries about how this all happened.
Regular-sized room with nicer furniture.

Good
This hotel is not like the other casino hotels in Reno. It's a few blocks away from the Virginia Street downtown on the Truckee River. Less smoky than the other large casino hotels. The rooms are quiet. The furnishings are on the new side. The...

Dinner at Lexies, thier finer dining, was great with really fresh ingredients. The cheaper cafeteria food didn't look appealing. Our room was soooooo nice! No cigarette stench in room. Great bedding; loved the bath and body works products. Staff ...
